Description

Patient Advocacy is an emerging practice for healthcare professionals who want to get back to basics. The Healthcare system is challenging regardless of where you work. Patient Advocacy is an emerging practice that allows healthcare professionals to work directly with the patient/family to coordinate care and assist with finding providers and other resources to meet their needs.

Patient Advocates empower patients to understand how the healthcare system works and address challenging issues in an organized manner. Anne Llewellyn, a Board Certified Patient Advocate will share insights into this emerging area for those who want to move into independent practice.
