Description

The OIG has released potential audit & inspection topics for fiscal year 2025. These areas are the result of a risk assessment that identified programs, service providers & contractors with an elevated potential for fraud.  In this webinar, we will review the Provider & Contractor categories.

Provider Audit assessments focus on whether medical facilities companies & providers are in compliance with statutes, rules, guidance, or contracts that regulate the provision of patient care & applicable billing practices.

Contractor Audits evaluate the performance of organizations that accept funds from Health & Human Services & verify all requirements are met & funds are used as intended.
